At the 32nd Edition of the World´s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, about 175,000 visitors were recorded at PERI´s specially erected exhibition hall. The biggest attractions featured a number of interesting innovations: DUO Universal Formwork, PERI UP Easy* Facade Scaffolding, SKYMAX Slab Formwork and the ACS Core 400 Core Climbing Formwork. PERI Managing Director, Alexander Schwörer, confirmed: "For us, bauma 2016 was a great success, and we are very satisfied with the positive feedback as well as the high quality of the fair visitors."
Event organisers, Messe München, saw an increase of over 9 % compared to the 2013 show with around 580,000 visitors from 200 countries registering during the week of the fair. The top three countries of origin among the visitors were Germany, Austria and Switzerland respectively, followed by Italy, France, The Netherlands, Great Britain, Sweden, Russian Federation, Poland and the Czech Republic.
This was correspondingly reflected in the situation at the PERI stand: round about 175,000 customers and prospective customers visited the Southern Germany based company. The exhibits were constantly surrounded by large crowds and all the PERI specialists had their hands full in answering numerous questions on PERI formwork and scaffolding technology as well as engineering aspects and project solution details along with explaining details and the finer points of the new developments. Particularly pleasing was the high quality of the visitors, while the share of international trade visitors was also significantly higher than 3 years ago.
In addition to numerous business transactions with customers, PERI was also extremely pleased with the huge number of new contacts that were made. As a result, the company is expecting many additional orders and opportunities in the wake of the fair in order to support companies in the construction and scaffolding industry for both small and large projects.
