Group Management will be extended by a Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The shareholders and the Advisory Board of the PERI Group have decided to change the management organization of the family-owned company: As of January 1, 2018, the Group Management of three managing directors, will be extended by a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and thus, from this date on, will consist of four persons.

Dr. Rudolf Huber (*1955), today´s Chairman of the Advisory Board will take over the newly created position as CEO. After studying business administration and earning his doctorate at the University of Zurich and various positions in the industry, he was a member of the Group Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer of the Geberit Group from 1992 to 2004. Since 2005 he has held various advisory and supervisory board mandates in large and well-known companies. He has been a member of the PERI Advisory Board since 2009 and has been its Chairman since 2011.

His successor as Chairman of the PERI Advisory Board will be Christian Schwoerer. As a member of the shareholder family, he was Managing Director of PERI Group for Finance and Organization until 2014 and then joined the Advisory Board. As Chairman of the Advisory Board, Christian Schwoerer will play an important role as link between the Group Management, the Advisory Board and the shareholders.

The other Managing Directors of PERI Group remain unchanged Alexander Schwoerer (Sales), Dr. Fabian Kracht (Finance & Organization) and Leonhard Braig (Product & Technology).

“PERI is today a very well-positioned company. We owe this to the successful and good work of the Group Management in recent years", says Christian Schwoerer. “We are very pleased to have Dr. Rudolf Huber appointed as CEO. He knows the company very well and for many years, has our full trust and brings in broad experience in leading large and important industrial companies ".

The family owned company PERI is one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of formwork and scaffolding systems. The reason for the decision to expand the Group Management is the strong international growth, which the company has set as its goal for the coming years.

“We are positioning ourselves for the future and are currently creating the organizational basis for the good and successful development of PERI within the framework of our growth strategy PERI 2025 ", says Alexander Schwoerer. “A CEO structure is the appropriate form of organization for a company of our size and complexity.”
